Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site - located approximately 3 miles from Sky Top, you can visit the home of Lincoln biographer, Carl Sandburg. There is a charge to tour the home but there is no charge to enjoy the trails or visit the chickens and goats.

Flat Rock Playhouse - The state theatre of NC is located just minutes from Sky Top. The playhouse offers matinee shows as well as evening performances. Check Schedule.

​When you get down the mountain, turn left onto Hwy. 225 N/Greenville Highway and go approximately 2.5 miles to the heart of historic Flat Rock and you'll find several dining options to suit your needs. Restaurant operating hours vary.
